Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating, monitoring, and optimizing the development and production infrastructure. You will play a key role in building CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud environments, and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, scaling, and configuration.
• Ensure system uptime, availability, scalability, and security across all environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline release processes and improve system reliability.
• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Manage containerization platforms like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and outages and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Document system architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Splunk).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Understanding of application security principles and tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, secrets management).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud deployments
• Familiarity with databases, caching systems, and message queues
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
