JOB DESCRIPTION: Position Description and Job Skill Set: The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH), Offices of Communicable Diseases and the Offices of Health Data, Operations and Research are seeking a Contractor with demonstrable knowledge and experience in working with the Rhapsody platform, developing Rhapsody software solutions, and implementing public health HL7 specification(s). To support MSDH’s on-going data interoperability obligations (Promoting Interoperability, Data Modernization, Mississippi State Public Health Laboratory operations, Vital Statistics, etc), the contractor will work closely with key MSDH OHIT and program staff to develop and implement plans and processes to strengthen, expand and formalize Rhapsody’s capacity, capabilities and customer support.
