Amazon’s global fulfillment network empowers merchants to deliver items ordered on Amazon to virtually any location worldwide. This involves a sophisticated web of connections between vendors, Amazon warehouses, customer addresses, and various intermediate hubs. With millions of packages in transit—each with unique attributes and delivery requirements—this creates an extremely dense and complex graph of nodes. Our highly regarded software engineering team is dedicated to tackling some of the toughest challenges in global transportation. We leverage workflows, optimization algorithms, and machine learning to power large-scale distributed systems that manage millions of shipments across Amazon’s logistics network. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior and principal engineers to solve problems at scale, enhance existing services, design new systems, and dive deep into complex algorithms. Your work will directly impact customers worldwide and help drive the efficiency of Amazon’s global operations.
